In regards to Atlanta’s “other” Martinez, there has never been a question of his talent. It’s his heart and desire that doesn’t always live up to what should be expected of a midfielder who has the potential to be among the elite in MLS. He’s already posted two assists through the first two weeks of the 2020 season, and we expect Martinez to elevate his game as the season wears on.
