Sources: Mbappe Set To Sign For Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe’s imminent move to Real Madrid has been a hot topic in recent years. Some reports suggest that the French forward has already inked his first contract with the Spanish giants (as per MARCA’s anonymous sources). Despite multiple links to Los Blancos in the past, including in 2017 and 2022, Mbappe opted to join Paris Saint-Germain instead.

However, after informing PSG of his intention to leave when his contract expires this summer, the path to Madrid seems to have been given the green light.

COPE reports that Mbappe is set to receive a signing bonus of $130-$160 million across his anticipated five-year deal. While a public announcement is yet to be made, Real Madrid might wait until after the Champions League encounter with PSG to make any formal announcement. Mbappe’s decision to leave PSG has reportedly been met with quiet acceptance from all parties involved, with PSG acknowledging that the player has made a firm commitment to Real Madrid.

Despite PSG’s efforts to present a fresh renewal offer, Mbappe’s entourage has advised against it, suggesting that the 25-year-old has already signed a five-year agreement with Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Perez.

Mbappe’s departure from PSG also involves him foregoing a hefty loyalty bonus, highlighting his determination to move to the Spanish capital.
