28. Ilkay Gündoğan — Manchester City
With the amount of talent City possesses on its roster, it is sometimes easy to forget just how good some of the lads can be. When it comes to Ilkay Gündoğan, that has certainly been the case at times. The German midfielder has enjoyed a nice spell thus far in the 2020-21 campaign. Gündoğan is a tireless worker with great vision and playmaking abilities. Through January 11, the midfielder has slotted home three goals in league play — one behind Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez for the team lead.
