Amazing advancements are also happening in the types of materials that can now be 3D printed. With these advancements there has been a new explosion in the printing of ceramics, utilizing clay and even porcelain for vases, plates, mugs etc. This printing process makes the ceramics a uniform size and allows for extremely detailed designs. There are countless designs online that can be applied and printed from even the most remote location. In addition, the low cost of printing ceramics could see it adopted by a number of large manufacturers. Before we know it, most (if not all) of the ceramics we use will be 3D printed.
