6. New York Giants Fans Snowballed The Chargers
Right before the last game of the regular season in 1995, a sudden blizzard covered the New York Giants’ stadium with fresh snow. There was no time to clean up the stands before the big game with the San Diego Chargers (who needed to beat the Giants to get into the playoffs).
That’s when Giants fans had an industrious idea and pulled together to start cleaning the snow themselves… by picking it up and using it to pelt the unsuspecting Chargers’ players. At the end of it all, Chargers’ equipment manager Sid Brooks was knocked unconscious by a stray snow-bullet and had to be removed on a stretcher. New York state of mind?
