27. Tony Vidmar — Australia
The defender out of Adelaide enjoyed a lengthy professional career. After playing six years for local side Adelaide City, Vidmar embarked on a career abroad — which included stops in Holland, Scotland, Wales, and England.
Vidmar made 76 appearances for Australia. Like Farina, he’s since transitioned into the realm of coaching. Since 2013, he’s managed the Australia U-17 side.

26. Luke Wilkshire — Australia
Wilkshire is one of the few players within this piece still active. He currently plies his trade for FC Dynamo Moscow. The 35-year-old outside back has played his entire career abroad — making appearances in England, Holland, and Russia.
Wilkshire had been a fixture for the national team. He made 80 appearances for the Socceroos — which included his participation in two World Cups (2006, ’10), two AFC Asian Cups (2007, ’11), and one Confederations Cup (2005). While many native Australians begin their playing career domestically, Wilkshire bucked the trend with terrific success.
