The Dutch goalkeeper made some of the most incredible saves Old Trafford has ever seen. He kept 134 clean sheets in league play, good enough for 6th all-time in the Premier League. Van der Sar won 11 trophies during his time at United, including six league titles. He will always be remembered for his performance in the 2008 Champions League final when he saved the clinching penalty kick to beat Chelsea.

The Dutchman was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson to bring fire power to the front line and boy did the transfer pay off. Van Nistelrooy would score 20 or more goals in four of his five seasons at United. Despite only winning one league title and one FA Cup, the Dutchman brought an attacking style to United that will be remembered for years to come.
