13. Joe-Max Moore

In three seasons, Moore was a two-time All-American, and helped UCLA win a National Title as a freshman. Moore then parlayed this success into a long and lucrative professional career – having stints in Germany, Ecuador, England, and in the United States. He scored 24 goals for the US National Team. This ranks Moore sixth all-time.

12. Carlos Bocanegra

Bocanegra has one of the most extensive careers playing abroad of any American soccer player in history. He played overseas in four countries (Spain, England, France, Scotland) for 10 years. Bocanegra also became a captain for the United States Men’s National Team. He will go down as one of the best American defenders of all-time.
