1. LenDale White
One-half of a deadly rushing combo at the University of Southern California, White was a punishing back who was selected in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft despite concerns over his weight. Although he didn’t possess the agility of a prototypical lead back, White performed fairly well in his first three seasons and eventually formed a dynamic one-two punch in the Titans’ backfield with the speedy Chris Johnson. In 2008, White led all backs with 15 rushing touchdowns as Tennessee finished in the top-10 in the league in team carries, rushing yards, and rushing scores.
