Although Tom Brady is arguably the best offensive player to ever play in the NFL, he’s more than capable of tackling players as a defender.
This was on display Monday during the Boston Red Sox season-opener versus the Pittsburgh Pirates at Fenway. Two of Brady’s jerseys had been stolen — including the one from this year’s Super Bowl triumph over the Atlanta Falcons. The articles of clothing were found in Mexico, and returned to Brady.

Prior to the game starting, Brady not only threw out the ceremonial first pitch, but also held up the jersey for all in attendance to see.
Rob Gronkowski — also in attendance — had other ideas:

For one, Brady’s speed in the open field was quite impressive. Most safeties and linebackers struggle to keep up with the massive tight end. Additionally, his tackle in space begs the question: Should Brady play both ways?
