New York Mets’ outfielder Tim Tebow’s transition from professional football to professional baseball certainly hasn’t been flawless.
During his one-month stint in the Arizona Fall League, Tebow batted .194 with 20 strikeouts in 62 at-bats. During spring training, Tebow has improved a bit — getting four hits in 20 at-bats. Tebow is currently playing with the Mets’ low Class-A affiliate Columbia Fireflies.
Baseball purists generally don’t respect Tebow’s desire to randomly pick up a sport he hasn’t played since his junior year in high school.
The Boston Red Sox Single-A affiliate — Greenville Drive — went on an anti-Tebow campaign on its official Twitter page.

Not jealous. We prefer developing future MLBers, not PR stunts https://t.co/kSllgN5Vmn

We're not judging…okay, maybe we are. Big difference in HS kids playing in Class A and 28-year-old wannabes https://t.co/NmUKODaPiA
