As is often the case, the Titans will not know the true value of this small draft class for at least two years. Armed with only six picks entering the draft, Tennessee took a flier on the talented-yet-polarizing DT out of Mississippi State — Jeffery Simmons — with its first pick. Simmons was viewed as a top-5 talent, but an ACL injury and serious character issues resulted in the lineman falling to 19. If Simmons can return to form post-injury, the Titans could be seen as a big winner. Ole Miss wide-out A.J. Brown is a good fit for the offense, and Amani Hooker adds depth to both the secondary and special teams’ unit.
