Here’s a novel idea: let’s protect Tom Brady. McGlinchey was arguably the most heralded offensive lineman entering the 2018 NFL Draft. His college teammate, Quenton Nelson, ended up being selected earlier, but McGlinchey’s ability to play either tackle spot made him an elite prospect. He battled injuries in Year 2, but the Notre Dame product has shown flashes of being a cornerstone at tackle.
