The 20 NFL Trades We Need To See On Draft Day

Broncos Give Drew Lock A Gift

The Trade: Denver Broncos trade No. 15 (1st) and No. 77 (3rd) to Arizona Cardinals for No. 8 (1st)

Denver wants a playmaker opposite Courtland Sutton. By moving up within the top-10, it makes sense to go with Alabama WR Henry Ruggs. Ruggs — more so than CeeDee Lamb or Jerry Jeudy — can take the top off an opposing defense. He might be the fastest player in the draft. At the very worst, he’s the type of guy that will keep opposing defenses honest. His explosive nature in after-the-catch situations will make him a very fun player to watch on the next level. Additionally, many feel that Ruggs’ best football is ahead of him after sharing touches in what was a very crowded group of Alabama receivers.
