12. Carson Palmer – Arizona Cardinals
After a tremendous 2015 regular season, when he threw 35 TDS in leading the surprising Cardinals to a 13-3 record and the NFC West title, a disastrous performance in the NFL Championship game (four INTs and two lost fumbles) in Carolina’s 49-15 thumping of Arizona wiped out all of those pleasant memories. Going into this season, Palmer, at age 36, must overcome the perception that he fell far short of expectations in the most important game of his career. Given the team’s win-now attitude, 2016 gives him the opportunity to do just that.
