Sit/Start Fantasy Options For Week 11: Wide Receivers

Sit: Keenan Allen — Los Angeles Chargers (vs KC)

A general rule of thumb for fantasy is to always trust elite talent. Allen is one of the league’s best wideouts, playing in a good offense — that should probably be better — and is facing a weak pass defense. But fantasy football is also about taking risks, and you risk the chance of falling behind in your league if you lag on certain trends. Allen is no longer the focal point of the Chargers offense, and Phillip Rivers hasn’t been nearly good enough to sustain the fantasy value of every Chargers pass catcher. More than likely, most Allen owners won’t have the roster depth to afford benching him. But if you’re somebody who’s getting Courtland Sutton or D.J. Chark off a bye or have Christian Kirk on your bench, sitting Allen isn’t an unreasonable move.
