Recapping The 5 Biggest Injuries In Week 2 Of The NFL

2. Jimmy Garoppolo – New England Patriots – Quarterback

Garoppolo was carving up the Miami Dolphins’ defense in Week 2, throwing for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns before falling awkwardly on his throwing shoulder in the second quarter. The Patriots’ backup QB suffered a sprained right AC joint, and at the very least, will miss New England’s Week 3 game against the Houston Texans. With Garappolo’s injury, there have been several rumors swirling in New England — one that includes Peyton Manning playing in Boston (not gonna happen). The unknown Jacoby Brissett is next in line for New England, with wide receiver Julian Edelman (a former QB in college) lingering as the fourth stringer. In other words, Week 5 can’t come soon enough for the Patriots.
