1. Adrian Peterson – Minnesota Vikings – Running Back
It was already tough enough for Minnesota when starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater went down, but now, the Vikings have also lost their Hall of Fame running back. On Sunday night, Adrian Peterson tore his meniscus against the Green Bay Packers. While Peterson was off to an incredibly slow start this season (just 50 yards on 31 carries), there is no doubt the team needs their star player. While Sam Bradford looked exceptional in his Vikings’ debut, the team can’t rely on Matt Asiata and Jerick McKinnon in the backfield. There is no timetable for Peterson’s return, but the division-leading Vikings can only hope that Peterson gets back on the field as soon as possible.
