Playing at San Diego State didn’t help Penny’s cause when it comes to national notoriety, but soon the country will take notice. Penny led the nation in rushing last season and Seattle paid attention. Penny is a durable back — never missing a game in college — and possesses good speed — his 4.46 40-yard dash ranked third among running backs at the combine. Penny is an elusive back (89 missed tackles forced last year) and also gives the Seahawks a weapon in the return game.
