Odell Beckham Jr. is making more than $2.5 million a year, but right now, he’s not even living at his own place. The New York Giants wide receiver revealed that he has an even more popular roommate — hip-hop artist Drake.
Beckham has long said that Drake is one of his closest friends and on a segment on DraftKings TV, the former LSU Tiger said he’s enjoyed the chance to hang out with the rapper even more than usual this offseason.
“Weird enough, I’m actually staying at [Drake’s] place right now while he’s finishing the album. So, I’m just out there working out. He needs to chill out with that house that he’s got out there. It’s just too much going on.”
The Giants might not be too fond of the craziness at Drake’s place, but they can’t complain about the production from their 2014 first-round pick. Beckham went off last season, snagging 96 passes for 1,450 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Luckily for the Giants, Beckham won’t be there much longer since offseason workouts start on Monday and Drake is supposed to finish his album Views From the 6 later this month. Beckham also said in the interview that despite the wildness, it has been a great experience living with the rapper.
“Somebody whose mindset is the same as yours, and they want nothing but success, they want to be the best,” Beckham said. “We just click on a level like that.”
Both celebrities hope their time together enables them to continue dominating their respective industries.
