25. Nico Collins — Houston Texans
The rookie out of Michigan is heading to a team with considerable turmoil and volatility. We’ve seen the Texans shed salary in a way which jettisoned long-term members of the team. We don’t yet know the status surrounding Deshaun Watson and what that may mean for this upcoming season. Regardless, we do know something: Collins is turning heads thus far during the Texans’ camp.
The 6-foot-5 rookie out of Michigan is reportedly drawing rave reviews from the staff and media in Houston. The Texans did trade two future picks to move up in the third round to nab him (hence showing why they’re so high on him). Even more impressive, Collins ran a 4.44 40-yard dash during the lead up to the draft. Couple that speed with his size, and he could be starting for the Texans in Week 1.
