START: Justin Jefferson — Minnesota Vikings (at SF)
Jefferson is cooking at just the right time for the Vikings. Minnesota is scratching and clawing for playoff positioning. With a potential playoff spot coming down to the wire, it’s no secret that the Vikings are leaning on Jefferson quite heavily in the passing game. The dynamic receiver out of LSU has three TD grabs over his last two games.
Even more telling, Jefferson has averaged 11 targets, nine receptions, and 156 receiving yards per game over the last two weeks. San Francisco isn’t an easy opponent — but it’s one the Vikings are directly competing against for a playoff spot. Of course, Minnesota won’t have to worry about snowy weather adversely impacting the passing game. Duly, the 49ers’ secondary is far from rock-solid.
