SIT: Kenny Golladay — New York Giants (at WAS)
The Giants were absolutely pasted by the Broncos at home this week. Things don’t get any easier for the G-Men — as they go on the road versus fierce division rival Washington. Neither team wants to start the season 0-2. This makes it imperative for the Giants in particular to have a good showing. Denver pressured New York a ton on Sunday. It resulted in Daniel Jones needing to get rid of the ball quite quickly.
The benefactors in this situation involved Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard. Both are known more as slot receivers/pass-catching threats in short-to-intermediate areas. Jones didn’t have the time to sit back and really launch the ball downfield to Golladay. Washington’s pass rush is just as good as Denver’s (if not better). As such, we could see a similar situation unfold this weekend.
