NFL Power Rankings: Week 3

Week 2 Result: Lost to Denver, 16-9

If we had to guess, the Texans won’t be the worst team in the NFL this season. After handling Indianapolis for much of their Week 1 tie, the Texans traveled to Colorado and frustrated Russell Wilson and the Broncos. Defensively, Houston held Denver to 16 points and smothered Wilson throughout the contest. Entering the fourth quarter, Houston held a 9-6 lead. Of course, the Texans weren’t able to hold on to the lead — but much of that had to do with the lack of offense. Overall, Houston gained 234 total yards.
