NFL Power Rankings Entering the 2022-23 Season

31. Jacksonville Jaguars

Is there a light at the end of the tunnel for the Jaguars? Urban Meyer is gone, and former Super Bowl winning head coach Doug Pederson was chosen to replace him. 2021 No. 1 pick QB Trevor Lawrence endured a shaky rookie campaign, but flashed enough to have the fanbase excited. The team’s other first-round pick in 2021 — RB Travis Etienne — will be ready to make his debut next season. While the roster still needs improvement, the Jaguars have plenty of resources to get the job done.

With the No. 1 pick in the 2022 Draft, Jacksonville selected Georgia DE Travon Walker. With the 27th pick, the Jags added linebacker Devin Lloyd. In the offseason, Jacksonville took advantage of its cap space and signed a slew of established players including G Brandon Scherff, WR Christian Kirk and TE Evan Engram. Additionally, the franchise re-signed lineman Cam Robinson and CB Tre Herndon.
