It’s no secret the Bears retooled their offense in anticipation of taking Caleb Williams with the first overall pick. You’re going to hear the phrase “Williams finds (Keenan) Allen for the first down!” quite often this year. The Bears and their fanbase are starving for a simply above-average quarterback. Through the annals of the franchise, Chicago hasn’t really possessed an elite quarterback at any point. Williams has the talent, charisma, and intangibles to be that guy if everything clicks properly.
