29. Justin Fields — Chicago Bears
2021 Stats: 10 games, completed 115-of-198 passes, 1361 yards, 4 TD, 8 INT, 311 rushing yards, 2 TD
It took an unfortunate injury to Andy Dalton to get here, but the rookie finally has his chance to start. Chicago opting to ease Fields into the starting role was a bit peculiar. Most figured he’d earn the starting job from Day 1 after the Bears moved up in the draft to secure the Ohio State product.
Fields is a tremendous athlete who will find success early as a running threat. As he grows more accustomed to the NFL, Fields will be able to showcase his immense arm talent, as well. Success for Fields will be based on lenient criteria. The Bears haven’t had much luck with quarterbacks over their history. Fields developing into even an above-average gunslinger would be a massive win.
