1. Cleveland Browns – Myles Garrett – DE – Texas A&M
The Browns will play with the idea of taking one of the quarterbacks, but this pick is truly a no-brainer. Myles Garrett is the best player in the draft, and it isn’t all that close. Garrett immediately improves the Browns pass rush, which was in the latter half of the NFL last season. He’s a freak athlete with a better vertical, broad jump and bench press than former first-overall pick Jadeveon Clowney. They’ve made some questionable decisions in the past, but they will keep it simple and go with the best player available.

2. San Francisco 49ers – Mitchell Trubisky – QB – North Carolina
Offensive guru Kyle Shanahan will need a signal caller to execute his system. Enter Mitchell Trubisky, the QB that many scouts say is the most polished in this class. With a talented back in Carlos Hyde, and a reunion with Pierre Garcon, Shanahan hopes that he has enough pieces for Trubisky to fit right in. It’s a less than stellar quarterback class, but the former Tar Heel has the highest ceiling.
