AFC East Winner — Buffalo Bills
After two decades of dominance from the Patriots, the Bills are ready to start their own streak of division titles in the AFC East. Buffalo won its first division crown since 1995 thanks to the No. 2 scoring offense in football, which powered the team to 13 wins on the year. We’re expecting much of the same in ’21. None of the other three teams can hang with Buffalo offensively. The Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, Brian Daboll trinity is one of the deadliest QB, pass catcher, play caller trios in all of football.
While the division race might not be terribly interesting, we’re certainly intrigued to see what the Dolphins, Patriots and Jets can bring to the table. Miami won 10 games last year while shuffling back-and-forth between QB’s. New England managed a 7-win season despite Cam Newton looking like a shell of himself and a defense that saw numerous opt outs due to COVID. The Jets aren’t going to be winning too many games, but look out for No. 2 pick Zach Wilson who looked as polished as any rookie QB in the preseason.
