The battle of the brainiacs is an annual tradition within Ivy League athletics. Outside of perhaps the two schools squaring off on the basketball court, this is the marquee matchup within the league. The teams first played all the way back in 1875 (in which Harvard won by a score of 4-0). Though the actual level of football might not be all that high, the pageantry surrounding this contest is something that more fans around the country should take notice of.
