20. Arizona State at Texas Tech; September 16th
Did you say points? In last year’s game, the two teams combined for 1,264 yards and 123 points. ASU running back Kalen Ballage scored EIGHT touchdowns in the contest. No, you’re not looking at typos. Texas Tech was statistically the worst defensive team in the country last year. Arizona State was the second-to-worst. Though Patrick Mahomes left for the NFL, Texas Tech still figures to put up plenty of production with Kliff Kingsbury’s patented Air Raid offense. Neither one of these squads will be contending for a division or conference title. In fact, it’d be apt to describe each as wonderfully average. However, the expected explosion of offensive fireworks makes this an entertaining game to watch.

19. Notre Dame at Miami; November 11th
This contest was a shoe-in for the list largely based upon nostalgia. Both programs have an extensive history with one other – which included a very heated period within the late ‘80’s. It’s since been reignited, with the Irish winning three-straight versus the Hurricanes dating back to 2010. Miami has arguably its best team in a decade. Notre Dame is coming off of its worst season since 2017, and is looking to potentially save Brian Kelly’s job.
