30. Jim McMahon
Before winning the Super Bowl as a part of the nationally revered 1985 Chicago Bears, McMahon quarterbacked BYU for three years. Combining his junior and senior seasons, McMahon threw for over 8,100 yards and 77 touchdowns. The charismatic quarterback led BYU to an 11-1 season — setting NCAA records for total offense (4,627), passing yards (4,571), and touchdown passes (47) — culminating in an epic comeback against SMU in the Holiday Bowl. McMahon led the Cougars back to the Holiday Bowl his senior year, once again claiming victory, this time against Washington State. All told, McMahon finished his time at BYU with an absurd 70 NCAA records under his belt.
