25. Pittsburgh Panthers
2019 Record: 8-5
Three games, three victories. The Pitt Panthers have done their job through three weeks, winning their most recent contest over a ranked Louisville squad 23-20. Pittsburgh’s path to the ACC Championship is a tough one. Towards the end of the year the Panthers travel to Miami to face the No. 8 Hurricanes, plays No. 5 Notre Dame the following week, and closes the regular season with a trip to No. 1 Clemson. Thus far, quarterback Kenny Pickett has played well and seems to have a good connection with his receiving corps. The defense has been phenomenal — having allowed 30 points and notching 17 sacks. However, if Pitt wants to challenge the ACC’s top dogs, it must find its rhythm on the ground. 3.6 yards per carry will not get the job done.
