Anderson was a terrific college player at Georgia Tech, but failed to live up to the hype during his NBA career. A shifty guard with explosive handles, Anderson played 14 years in the league while averaging just 12.6 PPG and 6.1 APG — not exactly eye-popping numbers for a former second-overall pick. His lone All-Star appearance came in 1994 — his third year in the league — and he got progressively worse as his career wore on.
