The 10 Greatest Players In Los Angeles Lakers Franchise History

10. George Mikan

The greatest Minneapolis Laker of all-time starts off these rankings. Mikan played eight seasons with the Lakers and is often viewed as the greatest player of the first half-century of basketball. Nicknamed ‘Mr. Basketball’, the 6-foot-10 Mikan redefined the role of the big man with his shot-blocking, rebounding prowess and hook shot. Mikan was a 2-time NBL champion, NBL MVP, and 4-time NBA All-Star, and was named a member of the NBA 50 Greatest Players list in 1996.
