Stephen Curry Nailed His Super Bowl 50 Prediction, Except For One Mistake…

No athlete in the world has had a better two-year stretch than Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry. After bringing home an MVP and NBA title last season, Curry appears poised to do the exact same thing this season.

As if that isn’t enough for the “baby-faced assassin,” even his favorite teams across other professional sports have been successful. The Charlotte native has never hidden his love for the NFL’s Carolina Panthers – a team that experienced shocking success en route to a 15-1 regular season.

Curry remained confident in his Panthers all season, predicting Cam Newton & Co would defeat the Denver Broncos and take home the Super Bowl 50 title. Carolina’s No. 1 fan predicted a 24-10 victory, which actually proved to be half right.

Super Bowl 50 did end with a score of 24-10, but it was Peyton Manning and the Broncos who came out on top. While Curry was certainly disappointed the Panthers couldn’t cap off their remarkable season with a Lombardi Trophy, all of his attention can now be focused on Golden State.

The Warriors are currently chasing the regular season wins record (72-10) set by the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls, and appear well on their way to topping it. Currently sitting at 47-4 and looking unstoppable in the process, it looks like at least one of Curry’s favorite teams will end the season as world champs.
