Re-Drafting The Top-Heavy 2015 NBA Draft

30. Golden State Warriors — Stanley Johnson

Original Spot For Johnson: 8th Overall (Pistons)
Original 30th Pick: Kevon Looney

There were high hopes for Johnson following a strong freshman campaign. A sturdy defender with a 6-foot-6, 240-pound frame, Johnson was tabbed as a player who could potentially mark the game’s top scorers. Johnson even minced words with LeBron James during a first-round matchup: “I’m definitely in his head,” claimed the 19-year-old rookie as his Pistons were eventually swept out of the postseason in four games.

Johnson’s short-lived trash talk with James is still the highlight of his career, as he attempts to find new life and a reliable jump shot as a member of the Toronto Raptors.
