Re-Drafting The Absolutely Terrible 2013 NBA Draft

25. Troy Daniels – Los Angeles Clippers

Original Spot For Daniels: Undrafted
Original 25th Pick: Reggie Bullock

Over the last three years, Daniels has been a solid guard off the bench for both Charlotte and Memphis. The 6’4″ guard is a career 40.6-percent shooter from beyond the arc. There won’t be much in the way of driving the ball to the cup, but Daniels is establishing himself as a legitimate threat from deep. Bullock has bounced around multiple teams, and hasn’t quite developed as well as many thought. He’s on the cusp of being a non-NBA player rather quickly.

24. Rodney McGruder – New York Knicks

Original Spot For McGruder: Undrafted
Original 24th Pick: Tim Hardaway Jr.

Credit the Heat for unearthing an undrafted gem. The franchise is well known for its ability to develop players, and McGruder is no exception. The former Kansas State Wildcat is a hard-nosed, aggressive wing. He won’t shoot the ball well from three-point range, but McGruder most certainly can drive the ball to the cup. He was one of the biggest rookie surprises in 2017.
