Re-Drafting The Absolutely Pitiful 2012 NBA Draft

24. Cleveland Cavaliers (to DAL) — Mike Scott

Original Spot For Scott: 43rd Overall (Hawks)
Original 24th Pick: Jared Cunningham

Scott has dealt with off-the-court issues during his time in the league, but the talent is undeniable. The Virginia product is a prototypical stretch-4 with a good release and three-point range. He’s one of the older prospects in this class, but at this point in the draft, all teams are looking for is somebody that can crack the rotation. Having played for top East contenders such as the 60-win 2015 Atlanta Hawks and the current Wizards, Scott has proven he can play a key role on a good team.

23. Atlanta Hawks — Meyers Leonard

Original Spot For Leonard: 11th Overall (Trail Blazers)
Original 23rd Pick: John Jenkins

Leonard has undergone an interesting transformation as a player. He was initially drafted as a rim-runner for his great leaping ability. But after failing to get any considerable minutes for the Trailblazers, he extended his game beyond the three-point line where he now thrives.

Get the big man going in some pick-and-pop action and Leonard can do some serious damage. His smooth stroke has translated to the foul line as well where he has converted 82-percent of his attempts over his career.
