23. Derrick Williams – Cavaliers
Quite the fall from grace after being the second overall pick once upon a time. Williams has been humbled by his NBA shortcomings. He’s recently accepted a bench role with this talented Cleveland squad, and has provided decent enough minutes when called upon. He was getting consistent minutes when first traded to Cleveland, but has since fallen out of favor and has been relegated to garbage time for the most part.
22. Matt Barnes – Warriors
The Warriors needed to add a bit of toughness to the roster after Durant went down with an injury midway through the year. A reunion with Barnes made sense at the time, but it doesn’t look likely that he’ll have much of an impact on this series.
21. Patrick McCaw – Warriors
McCaw has played valiantly while the Warriors have suffered through injuries throughout the season, and is coming off a solid series against the Spurs. The former UNLV standout averaged 10 points per game in the Western Conference Finals, starting in the place of Zaza Pachulia in Game 4 of the series. He doesn’t see much playing time when the Warriors are fully healthy, but could be called upon in the event Pachulia misses time in the finals.
