Atlanta Hawks: DeAndre Jordan

Trae Young’s ascension as a rookie has certainly sped up Atlanta’s perceived timeline. Pairing the young point guard with quality young teammates John Collins and Kevin Huerter give the Hawks one of the most promising cores in the league. They’ll add another talented player with the eight and tenth selections.
Atlanta will have to look at replacements for impending free agent center Dewayne Dedmon who started 98 games for the Hawks over the last two years but has battled injuries in each season. The former Clipper, Maverick, and Knick will come at a likely reduced price after an uninspiring 2019. While he’s not quite the athlete from his days in Los Angeles, Jordan remains an elite rebounder who doesn’t require many offensive touches.
