Boogie is coming off a strong season in which he put together an impressive stat line, but sacrificed efficiency in the process:
2014–2015: 24.1 points, 12.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.7 blocks, 46.7 percent from field
2015–2016: 26.9 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1.6 steals, 1.4 blocks, 45.1 percent from field
The addition of the three-pointer caused some decrease in efficiency, but the main concern with Boogie is the intangible aspect of the game. When things aren’t going his way, his effort on defense declines, shot selection becomes poor, and he becomes more prone to picking up technical fouls. If you build a team around him, you better surround him with high-character veterans.
