25 NBA Trades That Need To Happen

24. Devonte Graham to the Magic

Orlando Magic get: Devonte Graham

Charlotte Hornets get: Mo Bamba

Markelle Fultz’ torn ACL was an under-the-radar injury which has proven to be significant. Orlando has paid the price for allowing veteran point guard D.J. Augustin to walk this past offseason. Fultz’ injury led to rookie Cole Anthony stepping into a starting role, and while the former Tar Heel has shown flashes of ability it has been quite obvious he’s not ready for a 30-plus MPG role. Graham has struggled with his three-point shot this year, but he shot 37.3-percent on 9.3 attempts in 2020 with a fairly liberal shot selection. The Hornets have a glut of guards and Graham will be a free agent this year. Getting a prospect like Bamba might be worth it for a team that is a bit thin on size in the front court.
