Ranked: MLB 2021 Starting Lineups

28. Colorado Rockies

Key Player: Trevor Story

The fact that the Rockies are this low is embarrassing. Despite playing at Coors Field, this lineup projects to be one of the worst groups in baseball. With Nolan Arenado no longer employed (but still paid) by the Rockies, the spotlight will sit squarely on Trevor Story. Story is one of the best all-around players in the game today, but he doesn’t have much help around him. Charlie Blackmon remains a great hitter, Raimel Tapia is an improved hitter — and that’s about it. Brendan Rogers recorded two hits in 21 AB last year, Ryan McMahon hit .215. Did we mention Arenado is gone?
