Predicting Where The Top 30 MLB Free Agents Will Sign

Marcell Ozuna

After a fairly lousy 2019 with the Cardinals, Marcell Ozuna bet on himself last offseason — and won. The 2020 Silver Slugger led the National League in home runs and RBI, while finishing third in batting average. Ozuna’s hitting surge should earn him a gargantuan pay day. His decision could depend on MLB’s ruling for the use of a universal DH in 2021 — as returning to an AL-only designated hitter rule could shrink his potential suitors.

The Rangers are in need of a big bat, and Ozuna was swinging a boom stick in their home stadium during the playoffs. He and Joey Gallo would make for a devastating power punch in the middle of Texas’ order.

Prediction: Texas Rangers
Update: Ozuna signs 4-year/$65 million with Atlanta
