Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen is a wearer of many hats. Initially a model, she’s also become a fixture within pop culture. She’s hosted a plethora of different shows, has written various cookbooks, is a very proud mom, and is a hilarious follow on social media. All in all, she’s built quite the cult following.
Teigen has been steadfast in speaking about various procedures she’s had done. She initially had breast implants — though reportedly has also had liposuction in various spots on her body. Additionally, various reports indicate that Teigen has had work done on her face — and also her eyebrows.

Doja Cat
Raised in LA, Doja Cat (real name Amala Diamini) came out of nowhere to become a massive musical hit. It started with an EP — and soon followed with a debut album. Doja then began chopping it up with other heavyweights in the industry — featuring on some massive tracks. She’s even dabbled a bit in acting, shown as a possible love interest for Lil Dicky in the hit FX show Dave.
The popular singer has publicly spilled the beans on a few procedures. According to her Twitter account, the LA native did get a breast reduction. She also spoke about getting liposuction done on her thighs.

Cardi B
Cardi B (real name Belcalis Almanzar) is a generational talent. Following in the footsteps of other New York female rappers, Cardi B built a following on social media before exploding into the realm of pop culture. No. 1 hits followed by a Grammy Award soon followed. At only 30 years of age, she’s just scratching the surface on what should be a lengthy career.
Reportedly wanting to have a curvier build, Cardi B decided to get butt injections. However, these were not done at a hospital or clinic. According to an interview she did with GQ, Cardi B got the injections done in a basement in her native Queens. The discomfort, according to Cardi B, was “the craziest pain ever. I felt like I was gonna pass out.”

Ariel Winter
Ariel Winter has long been a successful child actor. Following in the footsteps of her brother (who was Pugsley in The Addams Family films during the ’90’s), Winter first started as a voice-over actress before getting her big break. Modern Family turned out to be one of the most successful sitcoms over the last 25 years. Winter played the brainy middle child, Alex.
Sadly, Winter reportedly suffered from bullying and actual pain due to the size of her breasts. As she told People, she ended up getting a breast reduction as a result of both factors.

Joe Jonas
One-third of the famed Jonas Brothers group, Joe Jonas has more than cultivated a very loyal fanbase along the way. After participating in the brother-based band, he has splintered off periodically to create his own music (for which he’s become quite famous). In addition to his music exploits, Jonas also has acted in a number of Disney Channel-based films.
Joe Jonas has had work done?! In a word, yes. According to the pop culture icon, Jonas has reportedly had multiple injections to clear up some cosmetic issues on his face. One of the injections includes Xeomin. It’s said to be an alternative to Botox. This was used — in Jonas’s case — to smooth over frown lines and a scar he had near his eyebrows.

Ben Savage
Ben Savage has long been a fixture within the world of entertainment. Starting out as a child actor, he got his big break as the lead in the cult sitcom Boy Meets World. While his acting career has somewhat slowed in recent years, Savage is still in the spotlight. In 2023, he formally filed paperwork to run for Congress in California’s 30th Congressional District.
Before his political career got launched, he did reprise his role as Cory Matthews in the spin-off Girl Meets World. In 2014, outlet Daily Mail cobbled together a few ‘before-and-after’ pictures of Savage — insinuating that he may have gone under the knife (when speaking about his upcoming role on that show).

Iggy Azalea
Iggy Azalea (real name Amethyst Kelly) really did achieve the American dream in a way few could imagine. She broke into the music industry as an unknown rapper — leaving her native Australia and ultimately making a name for herself in the United States. She quickly rose up charts, crafted a number of hit singles, and simultaneously become a pop culture icon in the process.
Clearly, Iggy’s appearance has changed over the years. She’s been very open about the procedures she’s had. Even her plastic surgeon — Dr. Ashkan Ghavami — gave an interview with People speaking about the procedures she had. Those include a surgery on her nose, and on her breasts.

Wayne Newton
Wayne Newton truly should be considered Las Vegas royalty. The iconic singer has been performing for over 60 years. Now at age 81, he’s still performing to this day in Vegas for his loyal fans. It’s quite a testament to both Newton’s work ethic and unbelievable talent. “Danke Shoen” is among his biggest hits, and you’ve surely seen it performed countless times in various films and television shows.
While Newton hasn’t publicly commented on his ever-changing appearance, pictures throughout the years seem to indicate that potential work may have been done (though there’s no clear confirmation on that educated guess).

Sharon Osbourne
Sharon Osbourne has long been the matriarch of the famous family. While husband Ozzy was starring on stage as a true rock legend, Sharon was busy helping to raise their two children, Jack and Kelly. When the family dipped its toes into the reality television pond, they became a transcendent unit — where reality TV took off and exploded into a highly popular entity.
Throughout the years, Sharon’s look has certainly changed. She has not been shy about going into some of the procedures she’s had done. In an interview with U.K. news outlet Sunday Times, she talked about getting a facelift which took over five hours to complete. At first, she reportedly was unhappy with the procedure. However, Sharon grew to love it.

Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn Jenner)
Earlier in life, Bruce Jenner was an Olympic hero. The New York native won the Gold medal in the men’s decathlon event at the 1976 Olympics. From there, Jenner became a motivational speaker and a highly successful entrepreneur. However, his fame exploded further as the supportive parent within the ‘Kardashian’ universe.
Ultimately, Jenner would transition — and eventually became known as Caitlyn. A memoir was written in which Jenner reportedly spoke about undergoing a gender reassignment procedure. She’s reportedly said over the years that she’s also had work done on her jawline, breasts, and forehead.

Priyanka Chopra
A native of India, Chopra eventually entered the world of acting after being a pageant participant for years (which included winning the title of Miss World 2000 at the age of 18). First acting in her native country, Chopra eventually made her way stateside — starring in projects such as Quantico, Baywatch, and The Matrix Resurrections. In 2018, she married fellow star Nick Jonas.
Chopra speaks openly about a tough procedure involving her nose. Something that was supposed to be quite simple ended up becoming a nightmare. She had a nose procedure to clear up constant symptoms of head colds (by shaving down polyps). Instead — as she wrote about in her memoir — something bad happened. The doctor reportedly made a mistake by accidentally shaving the bridge of her nose, and it ultimately collapsed:
“My original nose was gone. My face looked completely different. I wasn’t me anymore. Every time I looked in the mirror, a stranger looked back at me, and I didn’t think my sense of self or my self-esteem would ever recover from the blow.”

Jane Fonda
The daughter of famed actor Henry Fonda, Jane carved out quite a career for herself independent of her family’s background. Of course, she was a stunning model for quite sometime. However, Fonda’s true talents came on screen as an actress. She’s received Tony and Emmy Award nominations over the years. However, arguably Jane’s best accomplishment came when winning multiple Oscar Awards for Best Actress (Coming Home, Klute).
In an interview with Vogue, Fonda spoke about the intricacies in getting a facelift:
“We all know a lot of women who are wealthy who’ve had all kinds of facelifts and things like that and they look terrible. I had a facelift and I stopped because I don’t want to look distorted. I’m not proud of the fact that I had [one].”

Dolly Parton
The Tennessee legend has earned 11 Grammy Awards over her illustrious career. The genre of country music really wouldn’t be the same without her presence. To this day, Parton is lauded as a serious role model within the genre — as well as being a highly successful actress, entrepreneur, and all-around good person.
Parton has been very transparent about the work she’s had done. In multiple interviews done over the years, she’s spoken about the various procedures done to her body. Among them, Parton is reportedly said to have undergone a brow lift, breast implants, and eyelid surgery.

Bella Hadid
Hadid comes from a very well-to-do family. Her mother Yolanda was a very successful model from the Netherlands. Her father Mohamed is a highly successful real estate developer/entrepreneur with roots in Palestine (though he grew up in Greece, Tunisia, Syria, and the United States). As is the case with many on this list, Bella’s modeling career indirectly stemmed from the family’s appearance on reality television.
In a Vogue article, Bella Hadid did admit to getting her nose done when she was 14 years old. In her later years, she reportedly seemed to regret the decision. Other than that, Hadid insists she hasn’t gotten anything else done. Even when people comment on the shape of her eyes, she was quoted as saying “Whoever thinks I’ve gotten my eyes lifted or whatever, it’s called face tape! The oldest trick in the book.”

Cher
Talk about a talent. You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who has the immense talent in both the worlds of acting and music. Whether as a part of the iconic Sonny & Cher duo — or as a solo artist — Cher has established herself as a global icon. From an acting standpoint, she evolved from a comedic performer to one who excels in dramatic roles (as we saw in Mask, Moonstruck, The Witches of Eastwick, and Silkwood). When then throwing in her experience on Broadway, few can match Cher’s illustrious career.
In terms of actual procedures, Cher has admitted to getting her breasts done. Other than that, she prides herself on aging gracefully without the presence of fillers and other things.

Tom Brady
You all know the story. He’s the Northern California kid who went to Michigan, had a decent college career, and was picked late in the NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. From there, Brady developed into the best player in the history of professional football. He’s the consummate winner, champion, leader of men, and role model for those looking to rise up from an underdog status and emerge as a star.
Over the years, Brady has actually slimmed down from his original frame when first entering the league. It’s a bit of a reversal from most, who seem to gain weight as they get older. We cannot confirm any potential procedures Brady has had done. However, there’s clearly a big difference in appearance.

Mickey Rourke
The tough guy out of Miami (via New York) has long been associated with those action-packed films where Rourke can show both his physicality and charm. A true leading man, there’s a real sense of charisma emanating from his performances. After a long hiatus from acting, Rourke garnered an Oscar nomination for his role in The Wrestler. Since then, he’s been involved in a number of big-budget films.
When Rourke went on hiatus from acting, he reverted back to his past as a boxer. The constant pounding and physical punishment took a toll to his face. As such, Rourke speaks openly about how the surgeries were done to help fix the damage left on his face left from boxing (which included his nose being broken multiple times, among other things).

Courteney Cox
You all know Cox from her role as Monica on Friends. It was Cox’s big break — and easily the character she’s most well-known for. Among her other noteworthy performances, Cox also appeared in Cougar Town, Scream, and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. The Alabama native was also involved in relationships with fellow actors Michael Keaton and David Arquette.
Cox is another actress who is quite candid about her past work, and why she’s opted to dissolve the fillers she once had put into her face. She spoke about it with NY Post:
“There was a time when you go, ‘Oh, I’m changing. I’m looking older.’ And I tried to chase that [youthfulness] for years. And I didn’t realize that, oh s–t, I’m actually looking really strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now.”

Khloe Kardashian
A socialite, model, businesswoman, entrepreneur and mother, Khloe Kardashian literally does it all. She went from being simply ‘Kim’s younger sister’ to breaking out and really coming into her own as an iconic figure. Khloe especially is invested in the world of fashion — where she co-founded the clothing brand GOOD AMERICAN.
Khloe is not one to pull punches. Despite the constant speculation over her appearance, she reportedly told Bravo’s Andy Cohen about one specific procedure:
“Everyone says, ‘Oh my gosh, she’s had her third face transplant.’ I’ve had one nose job. Everyone gets so upset, like, why don’t I talk about it? No one’s ever asked me. [Andy Cohen was] the first person that’s ever asked me in an interview about my nose.”

Kris Jenner
The matriarch of the Kardashian family, Kris Jenner is without a doubt one of the most successful people on the planet. She’s a master at marketing her family, and extracting every bit of financial wealth from the value this collective unit brings. While a brilliant business mind, she’s also a loving mother and grandmother — as seen on the family’s reality show.
Jenner has admitted to getting work done as she approaches her 70th birthday. Reportedly, Jenner has spoken openly about getting botox, laser treatments, and fillers. Duly, she’s also mentioned having breast implants and a neck lift.

Mark McGrath
Mark McGrath was a massive heartthrob throughout the late ’90’s and into the 2000’s. As the frontman of the band Sugar Ray, he helped in engineering some massive hits — including “Fly”, “Someday”, and “When It’s Over”. In addition to being a singer, McGrath has been a big media personality — reporting on pop culture and spending time on various reality shows.
In terms of his personal looks, there have been many rumors McGrath has gone under the knife for some facial improvements. However, according to a Twitter post in 2018, he adamantly denies any plastic surgery:
“Silly I have to respond to ridiculous plastic surgery rumors, but here goes…I have NEVER had any plastic surgery done, I’m just naturally beautiful,” he wrote on Twitter alongside a pair of laughing emoji. “Funny to hear these so called experts insist I have…back to the real world.”
What do you think?

Kim Kardashian
It’s safe to say that Kim Kardashian is probably the most well-known person on the planet at this point (just check her social media accounts). Kim and her family exploded within the scene of reality television. From there, the Kardashian/Jenner families delved into the worlds of makeup, fashion, modeling, and other entrepreneurial avenues. All the while, Kim appears to be the unofficial ringleader of the group.
Kim has been a bit coy as to the work she’s had done. In one interview, she talked about getting a bit of Botox. However, other than that, the only other noteworthy procedure Kim has talked about involved getting butt injections in 2016 (though reportedly it was for the treatment of psoriasis).

Kylie Jenner
At one point, Kylie was one of the little sisters sort of floating in the background during the height of the Kardashian fame. She’d hang with sister Kendall while the older siblings shared the limelight. Well, as it turned out, Kylie had her own plans — and that included becoming one of the most successful people on Earth (at a very young age) with a massively global makeup empire.
Aside from her natural maturing into being a young adult, Kylie insists that she’s gotten minimal work done. During an episode of the family’s reality show, it was reported that Kylie received some lip fillers at the age of 15. As she told Paper in 2019, “People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false. I’m terrified! I would never.”

Madonna
As she approaches her mid-’60’s, Madonna is still going strong as a performer. Her career has been truly transcendent. She could’ve been an award-winning actress had she focused all of her time on that artistic medium. Instead, she became one of the biggest pop artists to ever grace the stage.
Madonna may have left some breadcrumbs for those thinking she may have gone under the proverbial knife. On Feb. 20, 2023, she made a Twitter post addressing rumors over her appearance. Posting a picture of herself, she offered this caption:
“Look how cute i am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol.”

NeNe Leakes
NeNe Leakes has truly enjoyed a very successful career. Piggybacking off her spot on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Leakes — a fan favorite — turned to the world of acting. She made 13 appearances on the hit show Glee. She was also a series regular on The New Normal — and even acted on Broadway. Suffice it to say, but Leakes is a very talented performer.
Leakes is certainly someone to wear her emotions on her sleeves. As such, she’s totally comfortable with speaking about the procedures she’s had. According to various reports, Leakes has spoken about getting a mini Brazilian butt lift, liposuction, a nose job, and breast augmentation.

Tyra Banks
Banks ultimately turned into one of the most famous supermodels on the planet. She appeared in every beauty magazine you could think of, and that ultimately led to Banks becoming an actress. From there, she’s hosted a number of different shows (as she still continues to do).
The beauty out of Los Angeles has admitted over the years that she did get slight alterations on her already gorgeous appearance. When speaking to People, Banks admitted that she had her nose done early on in her career. She also spoke about opting to get the insertion of fake hair (eyebrows).

Julie Chen Moonves
You may know Julie Chen as the famed host of Big Brother. Other than that, Chen has carved out a very successful career as a reporter, media personality, and interviewer. She grew up in New York, and attended college in Los Angeles. Now the mother of one, she balances her responsibilities wonderfully as a mother and entrepreneur.
Chen’s journey with plastic surgery is rather sad. When working as a reporter early in her career, she had a double eyelid procedure done on her eyes. As Chen spoke about in an interview, there was a pressure from a news director to get the surgery as a way for the audience to ‘relate’ to her better. She then spoke about it further on The Talk:
“All I could see was my eyes [after that]. And [I wondered] does [the news director] have a point? Since I first revealed my surgery on The Talk, the reaction from the Asian community — specifically from Asian women — has been tremendous. Many told me they finally felt free from feeling shamed. Others told me they wanted to get it done, but it felt like it was a dirty little secret people in the Asian community didn’t discuss, especially with non-Asians, and even with their own family.
I had one sister and one aunt who thought it was denying my heritage. It was considered shameful. A disappointment. Then there were women in non-Asian communities who were flabbergasted that this was such a thing. It was very, no pun intended, eye-opening.”

Heidi Montag
MTV was once known for music, and music only. Then…the adaptation of reality shows focused around privileged teens came into view. The Hills was a massive hit — and one of the main stars of the show was Heidi Montag. Along with future husband Spencer Pratt, Montag cultivated quite the following from the show. In recent years, she’s been known for her ever-changing appearance.
In her early 20’s, Montag reportedly gave an interview where she spoke about getting a host of procedures done. However, the harrowing aspect is that she spoke about getting 10 of these procedures done in a single day. Montag said the scariest part involved the recovery — which she wasn’t expecting (as she told People):
“Spencer thought he lost me. I died for a minute. With that much surgery, I had to have 24-hour nurse care and Spencer didn’t want to leave my side. … My security guards called Spencer and told him, ‘Heidi’s heart stopped. She’s not going to make it.’ And I easily could’ve. Cutting yourself up isn’t something I’d recommend.”

Clay Aiken
American Idol once took the world by storm. There wasn’t one week where an episode of the voice competition show didn’t captivate audiences across the globe. Clay Aiken was involved in the earlier installment of the show. Hailing from North Carolina, Aiken finished second in the second season of the show (with the winner being Ruben Studdard). Though he didn’t win the show, Aiken’s career as a media personality exploded.
Aiken has admitted that he did undergo some minor procedures to his face when appearing on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. Aiken got an operation on his jaw for a joint disorder which controls jaw movement. Simultaneous to that, Aiken said he had fat vacuumed out of his chin.

Melanie Griffith
Melanie Griffith is quite emblematic of the Hollywood scene. She’s the daughter of Tippi Hedren, and had high-profile marriages to fellow actors in Don Johnson and Antonio Banderas. Along the way, she exploded as a very talented actress. Among her more impressive performances, Griffith starred in Buffalo Girls, RKO 281, Crazy in Alabama, Cecil B. Demented, and Milk Money.
There have long been rumors about Griffith’s changing appearance. She hasn’t shied away from speaking about the various procedures she’s had done. According to a Vanity Fair interview, people would come up to her asking about her appearance. It never really dawned on her that things were ‘off’. As such, Griffith reportedly went to a different doctor and “started dissolving all of the sh*t this other woman doctor had put in.”

The Voices Behind Your Favorite Cartoon Characters
Happy Feet: Hugh Jackman
Happy Feet was a film featuring a who’s who of big-time cast members. Among them doing vocal work, the film included Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Nicole Kidman, Fat Joe, Anthony LaPaglia, Steve Irwin, Brittany Murphy, and Carlos Alazraqui. Also voicing a main character — specifically one of lead penguins named Memphis — is Hugh Jackman.
We know Jackman mostly as a physical actor in thriller-type productions. However, the casting director clearly thought that he had the vocal chops necessary for this role. Based on the movie, he more than delivered a solid performances.
Image Source: Christopher Polk/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images via Getty Images
The Lion King: Jonathan Taylor Thomas
When Jonathan Taylor Thomas landed this gig, he was already starring on arguably the most popular sitcom on network television. Of course, he was the middle son in Tim Allen’s Home Improvement. People absolutely LOVED this show — which surely catered to JTT getting this spot among the unbelievable ensemble vocal cast.
Before Simba became an adult (voiced by Matthew Broderick), baby Simba was vocalized by Thomas. Interestingly enough, he wasn’t asked to do the singing portions of the character. That role went to Jason Weaver — most likely known as older brother Marcus in the sitcom Smart Guy.
Homer Simpson: Dan Castellaneta
For nearly forty years, Dan Castellaneta’s most well-known role has been as TV’s most popular animated father, Homer Simpson. Castellaneta first voiced the buffoonish patriarch for short animated films that would air during The Tracey Ullman Show (he was a cast member at the time). The performance actually began as an impression of Walter Mathau, though Dan evolved it into the recognizable one that we know today in the three years before The Simpsons was adapted into its own half-hour sitcom.
Castelleneta also gives voice to other beloved Simpsons characters, like Barney Grumble, Mayor Quimby, Krusty the Klown, Grandpa Simspons and Groundskeeper Willie. In addition to that, he has also done voices for shows like Hey, Arnold, The Batman, The Tick and even occasionally pops in live-action series.
Image Source: Colin McPherson/Sygma via Getty Images
Fantastic Mr. Fox: George Clooney
The titular role of this Wes Anderson classic went to none other than George Clooney. This film was actually adapted from a Roald Dahl novel way back when (roughly 50 years ago). By nabbing Clooney as the leading ‘voice’ for this project, Anderson procured a guy who not only has a recognizable tone, but one who’s constantly perfected the leading man role — even if he’s technically an animated fox in this case.
Bugs Bunny: Mel Blanc
While many actors have since done the job, the original and still most recognizable voice of Bugs Bunny is Mel Blanc. Often called “the man of a thousand voices” , Blanc gave life to Warner Bros. animated mascot for over 50 years.
Originally dabbling in vaudeville, Blanc moved to radio in the early 1920’s, and quickly caught the attention of Hollywood. While working with Warner Bros in the ’30’s and ’40’s, Blanc voiced characters like Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Tweety Bird and Foghorn Leghorn. He continued to be prolific through the 1960’s and beyond — voicing dozens of characters for Hanna Barbera and even some well-known commercials (he was the original voice of Toucan Sam).
Bolt: John Travolta
Bolt was a critically-acclaimed Disney film when it came out in 2008. Of course, Disney is no stranger to landing some real starpower as it casted the primary roles. The leading protagonists in this film were voiced by the two people in this picture: Miley Cyrus as Penny, and John Travolta as Bolt the dog.
Bolt the character was a perfect match for Travolta. Both have natural charisma — and Travolta’s vocal prowess really jumped off the screen as a brilliant fit for the character’s composition. The movie was so well received that it garnered an Oscar nomination and multiple Golden Globe Awards nominations.

Puss in Boots: Antonio Banderas
A fan favorite of the Shrek franchise, Puss is brought to life by well-known Spanish actor Antonio Banderas. The actor has voiced the mercurial feline in every Shrek film except for the first, as well as two of his own spin-off feature length adventures.
Banderas got his start in theater after studying the dramatic arts in Málaga. He caught the eye of Spanish director Pedro Almodovar, and made the jump to film. After becoming an international star in the ’80’s, Antonio broke out big in the ’90’s and has since starred in a number of hit films including Desperado, Philadelphia, The Mask of Zorro (and its sequel), and Frida.

Spongebob Squarepants: Tom Kenny
While sharp-eyed comedy fans might recognize Tom Kenny from his appearances on sketch comedy series Mr. Show, most will know him best through his voice work — particularly his now twenty-plus-year run as the voice of everyone’s favorite animated porifera, Spongebob Squarepants. Kenny has dozens of credits, voicing characters for shows like Adventure Time, The Batman, CatDog, The Fairly OddParents, and Rocko’s Modern Life. It was actually on that last show, voicing Rocko’s best friend Heffer Wolfe, where Kenny would meet marine biologist, animator and future creator of Spongebob Squarepants, Stephen Hillenburg. Tom Kenny has earned two Daytime Emmy’s and one Annie Award in his time bringing this beloved character to life.

Coraline: Dakota Fanning
Coraline was a bit of a reprieve from what Dakota Fanning is used to doing. Up until this point, the young actress was lauded as operating in the real of drama. We’re talking about stellar performances in I am Sam, Man on Fire, and War of the Worlds.
In this situation, she was able to voice the character of a young girl who embarks on a coming-of-age tale involving fantasy elements and a parallel universe. While it’s a bit dark with some horror features, Fanning really hits it out of the proverbial park here.
Family Guy: Mila Kunis
This one should be all too familiar to those who watch Family Guy. It was a major coup for the show to cast Mila Kunis as daughter Meg. Kunis — at the time of her joining the show — was arguably the biggest actress in Hollywood (she still is a megastar). Being able to use her effervescent voice for the Meg character was a brilliant move. It gave the show immediate credibility (in addition to it being iconically funny), and it provided Kunis with a different platform off-screen.

The South Park Kids: Trey Parker and Matt Stone
Like most of the male cast that populate the not-so-quiet little mountain town of South Park, the four main characters are voiced by series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Trey voices Stan and Erich, while Matt voices Kyle and Kenny.
The two met while attending the University of Colorado Boulder. Parker and Stone produced a couple of independent films before they got their actual big break creating a video Christmas card for a Hollywood executive. Made in the same animated cardboard style that would become the hallmark of South Park’s early seasons, the video was an early viral sensation — and led to a deal to produce South Park for Comedy Central.
Beavis and Butthead: Mike Judge
Both Beavis and Butthead were voiced by their creator, Mike Judge. The characters first appeared in a short film featured during MTV’s Liquid Television. The show was picked up for series and ran for seven seasons, showing the misadventures of two Gen-X slackers who spent as much time watching music videos as they did getting into trouble.
Mike Judge was born in Ecuador and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He bounced around pursuing different interests until he found his passion in animation. The highly prolific director, writer and producer would go on to create King of the Hill, Silicon Valley, and feature films including Idiocracy and Office Space.

The Berenstain Bears: Michael Cera
We all know Michael Cera as the witty, quirky, sometimes off-beat kid in various teen movies (Juno, Scott Pilgrim, Youth in Revolt, Superbad, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist). He’s also an iconic performer in Arrested Development. What some people might fail to realize is that he was actually a child actor in his native Canada before making it big in the States.
One of those roles came on the television adaptation of The Berenstain Bears. For two seasons and 26 episodes, Cera actually voiced the character of Brother Bear. He then left the show, and was replaced by another actor for the final season. Still, we think Cera probably made the right decision considering the trajectory of his career.

Finn The Human: Zack/Jeremy Shada
Finn, the human protagonist of Pendleton Ward’s long-running animated fantasy series Adventure Time, has been portrayed by two different voice actors who happen to have a very interesting connection.
The show began its life as a seven minute short film made almost entirely by Ward. At that time Finn was voiced by Zack Shada, a young actor from Boise, Idaho. The short would eventually go viral, and the series was commissioned by Cartoon Network. When it was time to re-cast for series, it was Jeremy Shada, Zack’s younger brother, who won the role.
There must not be any hard feelings between the two of them as they are both members of the same Los Angeles-based band Make Out Monday.

Philip J. Fry: Billy West
Philip J. Fry is the lead character of Futurama, Matt Greonig’s 30th century follow-up to The Simpsons. Fry is voiced by Billy West, arguably the modern day Mel Blanc. Originally a musician, West worked in radio before transitioning to voice acting in the late ’80’s. Blanc has hundreds of credits and has voiced several other iconic characters in animation, including Doug Funnie from Doug, Stimpy from Ren & Stimpy, the Red M&M.
The comparison to Mel Blanc is doubly apt. West is an accomplished mimic and has portrayed characters that Blanc made famous for other projects — including Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd.

Shrek: Cameron Diaz
The Shrek franchise truly is a juggernaut. It’s considered to be the second highest grossing animated franchise in the history of film. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz carried this series with their vocal brilliance.
After her roles in The Mask, There’s Something About Mary, Any Given Sunday, Being John Malkovich, and Charlie’s Angels, few would’ve guessed that she’d then become a legendary voice-over actress. From back when the first film came out (2001) until the end of time, Diaz will always be associated with protagonist Princess Fiona.

Marge Simpson: Julie Kavner
One of television’s most famous Moms, Marge Simpson is voiced by the indelible Julie Kavner, who has now spent the better part of forty years giving life to the gravelly-voiced matriarch.
Like Dan Castellaneta, Julie was a cast member on The Tracey Ullman Show when she was tapped to lend her voice to one of Matt Greonig’s animated shorts. Prior to that, she was already an accomplished actress, having earned a number of nominations and a win for Supporting Actress Emmy for her work on Rhoda in 1978. The Los Angeles native also has a long list of live action performances in films including Awakenings, Radio Days, Forget Paris and Hannah and Her Sisters.

Tommy Pickles: E.G. Daily
Little Tommy Pickles is the industrious, diaper-clad leader of The Rugrats and de facto protagonist of the show. He’s voiced by E.G. Daily, an actress and singer from Los Angeles who does both live action and voice work. You might have heard her in Babe: Pig in the City where she voiced the titular pig, or perhaps The Powerpuff Girls or Happy Feet. Stuart Little: Michael J. Fox
Michael J. Fox’s upbeat and energetic voice truly is a seamless pairing for animation. When looking at the thoughtful, kind, lovable character of Stuart Little, we can’t envision a better choice than to use the affable and quite popular Canadian actor.
Of course, the trilogy of films were based on E.B. White’s novel from the mid-’40’s. Fox was called back to do voiceover work on all three of the films — which commercially did very well.

The Little Mermaid: Jodi Benson
Ariel, the lead character from The Little Mermaid, is portrayed by actress and singer Jodi Benson. Originally from Rockford, Illinois, she originally began performing on stage, landing Broadway roles in the mid ’80’s. It was during a production of Smile in 1986 that she made the contact that would lead to her auditioning and winning the part of Ariel. This launched a voice acting career for film, television and video games that continues to this day. She also continued performing on stage, and even earned a Tony nomination in the early ’90’s for her performance in the music Crazy For You.

Avatar Aang: Zach Tyler Eisen
Created by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the most successful franchises produced by Nickelodeon. According to his IMDB, Eisen is originally from Connecticut and he recorded most of his voice over work from there. Prior to that, Zach has credits for animated series like Little Bill and The Backyardigans.
Since his work on Avatar, Eisen has apparently transitioned into production work, with credits as both an Assistant Director and various roles related to sound recording.

The Minions: Ensemble Cast
Who doesn’t love a Minion?
Originally appearing in Despicable Me in 2010 as, you guessed it, minions of the supervillain Gru, the lovable yellow creatures have become de facto mascots for the animation company Illumination.
The three most well known Minions are Kevin, Stuart, and Bob. While they have a somewhat limited vocabulary, they are voiced by accomplished actors. In the original film, each had a different actor: Chris Renaud, Pierre Coffin and Jemaine Clement. Both Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin designed the minions, with Renaud providing the voice for the minions in each subsequent film that they’ve appeared in.
Jemaine Clement is, of course, the famous actor, comedian and musician who was one half of Flight of the Conchords and star of films like What We Do in the Shadows and Men In Black 3. He was only credited for the first Despicable Me film.

Dexter: Christine Cavanaugh/Candi Milo
Dexter’s Laboratory was one of Cartoon Network’s first popular original series. Its original run was from 1996 to 1998, with a brief revival from 2001 to 2003 and a TV movie between the two in December 1999. The voice of Dexter, the precocious genius who often found himself at odds with his frenetic older sister, was actually done by two women. For the first three seasons, it was actress Christine Cavanaugh, who you might best know from voicing Chuckie from Rugrats, Gosalyn from Darkwing Duck or as the titular pig in the film Babe.
After Cavanaugh retired from acting in 2001, Candi Milo took over the role. Another prolific, Annie nominated voice actress who has also performed on screen and stage, you might have heard her work most recently in Space Jam: A New Legacy where she played Granny.

Kim Possible: Christy Carlson Romano
Created by Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley, Kim Possible was the second animated original series produced by the Disney Channel. Kim Possible, the titular crime fighting antagonist of the series, was voiced by Disney Channel vet Christy Carlson Romano. The Connecticut born actress made her Broadway debut at the age of 14. She’s probably best known as Ren from Even Stevens, which remains one of the Disney Channel’s most beloved series.
Romano has truly diversified as a performer and content creator today. She continues to act, in addition to recording audiobooks, directing films and music videos, launching a podcast network and even penning a young adult novel.

Batman: Kevin Conroy
While there have been dozens of animated Batman projects to date, Batman: The Animated Series remains the most critically acclaimed of the bunch. The series, which ran from 1992 to 1995 and produced 104 episodes, stars Kevin Conroy as Batman. It gave audiences what has become the definitive voice of the Dark Knight.
Conroy studied drama at Juilliard. He was an actor for stage and screen before he first stepped into the VO booth to portray the Caped Crusader. Conroy would go on to voice Batman in an endless parade of DC Animated projects and video games. He also remains the only actor to voice Batman and play him in live action (as he had a guest appearance as an alternate universe Bruce Wayne on an episode of The CW’s Catwoman).

Garfield: Lorenzo Music
The 1980’s was the height of Garfield mania. It was the most popular comic strip in America and it seemed like every other car had a Garfield stuffed animal hanging in the window. The lazy, lasagna loving cat was given 12 television specials. Then in 1988, his very own animated series called Garfield and Friends. For these, as well as countless commercials, video games and licensed toys, Garfield was voiced by Lorenzo Music.
Music was a writer and actor who got his start in the 1960’s on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. Music would go on to co-create The Bob Newhart Show and write for Rhoda, a Mary Tyler Moore Show spinoff. Music would actually have a recurring role on the spinoff which helped him gain popularity among the public. ’80’s kids might also recognize him as the voice of Peter Venman in The Real Ghostbusters.

Genie: Robin Williams
Genie was the breakout character from Disney’s smash animated feature Aladdin in 1992. In this and the third film in the series, Genie was voiced by the beloved actor and comedian Robin Williams. The genius comic brought life to the role with his improvisations, with the producers letting Williams riff off of the script and thus inspiring the animators.
Williams would go on to lend his voice to a number of other animated productions like FernGully: The Last Rainforest, Happy Feet and Robots.
For the second Aladdin film as well as the animated series, Genie was voiced by veteran VO heavyweight Dan Castellanata.

Mulan: Ming-Na Wen
The lead character in Disney’s 1998 animated feature Mulan was voiced by Ming-Na Wen. Her breakout role came in The Joy Luck Club in 1993 — which opened up a number of new opportunities in film and television (including a major role on NBC’s ER). She remains a prolific actress, recently popping up all over Disney’s Marvel and Star Wars franchises, appearing in series like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
The singing voice for Mulan was provided by Lea Salonga, a Filipina singer, producer and actress of the screen and stage. Mulan was her second Disney film as she had also performed the singing voice of Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin in 1992. Lea is also the first woman of Asian descent to win a Tony Award, for her work in the Broadway production of Miss Saigon.

In both the original 1980’s animated series and the recent blockbuster Transformers film franchise, the leader of the Autobots Optimus Prime has been voiced by Canadian actor Peter Cullen. His career began in the 1960’s working in Canadian radio. In the ’70’s and ’80’s, his voice work career took off with him earning dozens of film and television credits for projects as varied as Knight Rider, Pac-Man, Rainbow Brite and even providing the vocal noises for the great ape in the 1976 remake of King Kong and the monster in Predator.
Outside of Optimus Prime, this in-demand voice actor’s highest profile roles are Monterey Jack from Chip n’ Dale Rescue Rangers and Eeyore from Winnie The Pooh among hundreds of others.

Peter Griffin: Seth MacFarlane
Like many of the voice actors on The Simpsons, it seems reductive to simply say that Seth MacFarlane, creator and executive producer of Family Guy, is the voice of Peter Griffin. MacFarlane also voices Stewie, Brian, Quagmire and a handful of others. This is also in addition to voicing various characters on Family Guy’s sister show American Dad.
MacFarlane started in animation working as a writer and storyboard artist for Hanna-Barbera on shows like Dexter’s Laboratory and Johnny Bravo. Soon after that, he caught the attention of Fox and within a few years had pitched and sold Family Guy to the network, becoming the youngest showrunner in animation at the time.
MacFarlane would of course go on to be one of the most successful creators in television — not just in prime time animation but also live action film and television.

The Iron Giant: Vin Diesel
The Iron Giant is a beloved cult classic animated feature film. It also marked the directorial debut of Brad Bird — who would go on to have great success with Pixar and beyond.
The titular Iron Giant, an enormous alien robot that seems to have a distaste for violence and a taste for metal, is voiced by Fast and Furious and xXx star Vin Diesel. While the character utters very few actual words (and plenty of grunts and groans), Diesel’s performance is still an impressively nuanced one.
While Vin is mostly a live action star, he has one other similar VO performance with a character that also has a famously limited vocabulary: Groot from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Bart Simpson: Nancy Cartwright
Bart Simpson, the mischievous elder child of the Simpson family, is voiced by Nancy Cartwright. Nancy was already a working actress and voice artist when she auditioned for the role of Bart Simpson. She had been interested in voice work at a young age, and was mentored early on by veteran voice actor Daws Butler through correspondence after she reached out to him by mail.
Cartwright performs several popular characters in the Simpsons menagerie, including Nelson Muntz, Todd Flanders and Ralph Wiggum. Outside of The Simpsons you might recognize her work from shows like Rugrats, Pound Puppies, Kim Possible and Snorks. Cartwright has also leveraged her success to create a production company, and has written and produced a feature film of her own.

Gus Kenworthy (pictured left) hails from England originally — though he and his family moved to the United States when he was just a toddler. Growing up in Colorado, Kenworthy became an exceptional skier. He did represent Great Britain in one competition. Kate Middleton — better known as her official title as the Princess of Wales — married into the British Royal Family. She married Prince William, which means that one day she’ll eventually become the Queen of England.
