Everyone has that friend who chases the trends. Whether it be the clothes they’re wearing because some no name clout rapper sponsored it on their Instagram, or it be which Netflix show you just HAVE to watch, these friends have strong opinions. One topic you could always rely on these people to have an opinion on though is what to eat. What’s deemed healthy or not healthy now, where should you be shopping for groceries sustainably, which restaurants are sourcing their food locally. These questions have led us to live through a decade with a variety of food trends that have/had immense popularity amongst the masses. We here have decided to rank the biggest and best ones from the last decade to see which food trend truly was worth it.

Non-Dairy Milks

Who even really drinks dairy anymore? The world has seen multitudes of lactose beverage replacements come into existence in the last 10 years. Soy and Almond Milk truly lead the way into non-dairy milks, being sold in almost every market across the United States. In the last half of the decade, though, we’ve seen the expansion of different lactose free milks. Now including Macadamia Nut Milk, Cashew Milk, Walnut Milk, Coconut Milk, Hemp Milk, and the most recent and popular one — Oat Milk.
