Anyone who argues the level of Edge’s stardom only needs to hear the eruption of cheers he received upon returning to action in the 2020 Royal Rumble match. After being away for nine years, the WWE Universe welcomed back Edge with a massive ovation. The “Rated ‘R’ Superstar” was previously forced out of competition after a string of neck surgeries. Now 47 years old, the WWE Hall of Famer is looking to make one last run at the top. He punched his ticket to WrestleMania this year with an emotional win in the 2021 Royal Rumble match.
