The much-younger Jesse fell in love with a mother of two from Connecticut in Darcey. Meeting in Jesse’s hometown of Amsterdam, the couple had a ton of passion on screen. Sometimes, the passion would turn ugly and hostile. Ping-ponging back and forth between Connecticut and Europe, the couple struggled to stay amicable. The two broke up, and have since entered multiple other relationships (which have all been documented on TLC). As of 2022, Jesse is now dating Jeniffer (yes, the same woman from earlier in the article). The couple are planning to eventually settle in Spain. Darcey had a high-profile relationship with another younger man (from Bulgaria). However, as shown on Darcey & Stacey, it did not work out. She remains single and a dedicated mom to her teenage daughters.
