Like Halsey, Charlie Puth is a New Jersey native. Despite producing several works as an independent artist, Puth broke into the mainstream in 2015. That year, following the release of his first single — “Marvin Gaye” — Puth became a global name through the song “See You Again”. Singing alongside Wiz Khalifa, the two created the song that played behind the late Paul Walker’s final scene in Furious 7. In the years that have followed, Puth has released two albums. Notably, Puth’s song “We Don’t Talk Anymore” (featuring Selena Gomez) reached No. 9 on the charts. Puth’s top rated single, “Attention”, peaked at No. 5 in 2017.
