Emma Roberts: Father is Eric Roberts/Aunt is Julia Roberts
Emma Roberts had quite the introduction to the world of acting. Her father Eric has been a working actor for upwards of 30 years. While he isn’t exactly an A-Lister, his sister Julia (aunt to Emma) certainly is. Pretty Woman and Notting Hill are two of the many blockbuster Roberts has starred in over the years.
Emma herself has become very established in the field dating back to when she was a young girl. Among Emma’s most impressive accomplishments, she’s starred in projects such as Nancy Drew, Blow, American Horror Story, and We’re The Millers. At only 31 years of age, she’s not yet even hit the ultimate prime of what’s already been a promising career.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Mother is Blythe Danner
Actor/entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow has been in the game for quite sometime. Dating back to when she was a teenager, she has acted alongside some real heavyweights in the business. Her performance in Shakespeare in Love ultimately won her an Oscar. Her career has been uber-successful — which could be traced back to mother Blythe Danner.
Younger audiences might know her as Robert De Niro’s wife in the Meet The Parents franchise. However, Blythe has won two Emmy Awards and a Tony Award during her career (which has spanned over 50 years). Husband Bruce Paltrow was also involved in the business — completing a fully cycle of Paltrows who crushed it in the film industry.

Billie Lourd: Mother is the late Carrie Fisher/Grandmother is the late Debbie Reynolds
This family is loaded with Hollywood royalty. Starting with the matriarch Debbie Reynolds. She was a fixture in the acting world all throughout the ’50’s and beyond. Daughter Carrie Fisher — of course — got her big break as Princess Leia in Star Wars. From there, Fisher worked as a writer and actress on many other shows. Naturally, her daughter Billie Lourd would soon follow into the business.
Lourd has had small parts in the recent Star Wars iterations. She’s also been in Booksmart, American Horror Story, Billionaire Boys Club, and Will & Grace. Based in LA, Lourd is married and expecting her second kid.

Tracee Ellis Ross: Mother is Diana Ross
Diana Ross is absolutely iconic. The Detroit native was the lead voice of The Supremes — one of the most successful and highly respected female groups in the history of music. We could write gallery after gallery on Ross and her prowess as a vocal talent. Ross married a music executive in the ’70’s, and from that relationship came actress Tracee Ellis Ross.
After graduating from Brown, Ross transitioned fully into being a full-time actress. Her first big break came in the fun comedy Girlfriends. However, she’s most known for her role as Dr. Rainbow ‘Bow’ Johnson in Blackish. It was here where Ross accrued five Emmy Award nominations and a Golden Globe Award.

Kate Hudson: Mother is Goldie Hawn
These two are pretty recognizable within the world of Hollywood. Goldie Hawn was a bombshell actress dating back to the ’70’s. She was originally a theater actress before moving more into the skit world. Eventually, Hawn went dramatic — winning an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress opposite Walter Matthau in the 1969 film Cactus Flower. Talk about the start of a brilliant career. She’s since continued to act throughout the years. Her daughter, Kate Hudson, ended up following in her footsteps.
The role we all know Hudson from is the mysterious Penny Lane in the musical his comedy/drama Almost Famous. She won a Golden Globe Award for the role, and was also nominated for an Oscar. Since then, Kate has consistently been acting in a number of Rom-Coms. She’s also been heavily involved in building the brand for the fitness apparel company she co-created called Fabletics.

O’Shea Jackson: Father is Ice Cube
The physical resemblance here is absolutely uncanny. These two look like twins — which makes sense considering Ice Cube’s son is none other than O’Shea Jackson Jr. Ice Cube himself rose to fame in the late ’80’s as one of the West Coast’s pioneers as it came to rap. He then transitioned to the silver screen, where he displayed some serious acting chops in Boyz n the Hood. Since then, he’s become more of a comedic actor.
Son O’Shea Jr. has followed in his dad’s footsteps as an actor. The avid Lakers’ fan/LA native has been involved in a number of rather significant projects. Most notably, playing his dad in the film Straight Outta Compton. He’s also been in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ingrid Goes West, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. You can expect O’Shea Jr. to continue in building up his resume as a very talented performer.

Lily Collins: Father is Phil Collins
Before she was Emily frolicking around Paris with iPhones and daily glasses of champagne, actress Lily Collins was playing the real-life daughter to award-winning singer Phil Collins. Collins was raised stateside for the majority of her life, and she surely got the acting bug once growing up in Los Angeles. Whether it be The Blind Side, Emily in Paris, Rules Don’t Apply, or Tolkien, Collins is here to stay as an A-Lister.
Of course, her father isn’t too shabby with his own accomplishments in the field of music. Phil has achieved a plethora of No. 1 singles during the duration of his career. The 1980’s in particular was a lucrative time period for him from a music standpoint. Even more interesting, the 8-time Grammy Winner/1-time Oscar winner has been an actor in various roles — including as Inspector Good in the Robin Williams-led Hook.

John David Washington: Father is Denzel Washington
Former St. Louis Rams running back John David Washington is one of the hottest actors in Hollywood. He went from being a virtual no one into becoming a super in-demand performer. With an experience level relatively low in comparison to some of his peers, John David still has managed to garner roles in some hugely massive projects. These include BlacKkKlansman, Tenet, Amsterdam, Malcolm & Marie, Ballers, and Beckett.
Oh — and he happens to be the son of Denzel Washington. We won’t bore you with his accomplishments and appearances, considering there are far too many to even casually mention.

Lori Harvey: Daughter of Steve Harvey
We know all about Steve Harvey. He was a comedian-turned actor-turned host of a million shows currently on television. His quick-witted humor pairs brilliantly with virtually anything he’s attached to (especially if he’s the one driving the direction of said program). Over the last few years, his daughter Lori has been garnering quite a bit of hype.
The 25-year-old model has been featured in a number of high-profile shows and campaigns by the biggest fashion brands in the world. In addition to creating her own beauty care line, Lori also has been linked to a number of high-profile relationships. Reportedly, she was dating professional soccer player Memphis Depay. After that, she was connected through reports to rapper Future, F1 racer Lewis Hamilton, and famed actor Michael B. Jordan.

Jason Schwartzman: Son of Talia Shire
This family is loaded with those who have experience in the industry. Let’s start with Talia Shire (the mother to Jason Schwartzman). Talia Shire is best known as Adrian in the Rocky films. She also happens to be the sister of Francis Ford Coppola — and the aunt of Nicolas Coppola (aka Nicolas Cage). Shire also played Connie Corleone in her brother’s iconic film The Godfather.
Son Jason entered the industry as an 18-year-old in the quirky yet brilliant Wes Anderson film Rushmore. From there, his career exploded — featuring in Hotel Chevalier, The Darjeeling Limited, Scott Pilgrim, I Heart Huckabees, Moonrise Kingdom, and The French Dispatch. This also doesn’t even include Schwartzman’s career in television, either. He’s a working actor with a real feel for being on screen (which shouldn’t be too surprising considering his lineage).

Eva Amurri: Daughter of Susan Sarandon
Eva Amurri is the daughter of an Italian director father and American actress mother Susan Sarandon. Sarandon has long been a fixture in the industry — giving us performance after performance with some real zest (and more so than anything, range). Sarandon’s star-studded career features prominent roles such as Stepmom, Bull Durham, Thelma & Louise, and Dead Man Walking (among others).
Born in 1985, daughter Eva started acting as a child — enjoying small parts. However as she got older, the roles intensified. New York, I Love You and That’s My Boy were two of her bigger roles to date. She’s also been involved on television, and currently stars on her mom’s show Monarch.

Lily-Rose Depp: Daughter of Johnny Depp
For as good as an actor as Johnny Depp is, daughter Lily-Rose has already demonstrated some similar skills at a very young age. Born to Depp and a French actress, Lily-Rose began in the industry as a 15 year old. She’s since garnered roles in more serious, dramatic projects rather than the goofy, funny tones often associated with a teenage actress. Her biggest role to date might be coming soon, as she was just cast alongside Bill Skarsgard in the remake of Nosferatu.
Depp’s accolades are well established at this point. It’ll be interesting to see how he treads back into the world of acting after the lengthy trial featuring himself and his ex-love Amber Heard has finally concluded.

Elle King: Daughter of Rob Schneider
This one may come out of left field. Singer Elle King has made a name for herself over the last few years. The Brooklyn native with a booming voice has garnered a whopping four Grammy Award nominations for music sitting in the realms of both pop and country. Her versatility is quite special. Born Tanner Schneider, she is actually the daughter of comedian Rob Schneider.
Schneider has been a heavy presence in virtually every Adam Sandler project for decades. He’s been a stand-up comic at times, and also has starred as a lead in some rather ridiculous yet memorable comedies. While he opted for the stage as an actor, his daughter similarly took to the stage — yet as a very accomplished vocal performer.

Dan Levy: Son of Eugene Levy
Schitt’s Creek was initially thought of as a small Canadian-based comedy on an even smaller network. Fast-forward a few years, and it’s turned into a cult classic. In fact over the last few years, you’d be hard-pressed to find another show (maybe except The Office) which has been streamed more.
Real-life father/son duo Eugene and Dan Levy crush it here. Eugene has been a comedic icon in Canada for half a century. As he got more familiar in the eyes of American audiences, many know him as the dad in the American Pie series. Similarly, Dan has also carved out a very strong niche for himself. As one of the more popular characters in the show, he’s seen his opportunities on screen absolutely explode.

Liza Minnelli: Daughter of Judy Garland
We can see the resemblance here quite strikingly. Judy Garland had a run as the most glamorous/famous actress in Hollywood. Starting as a young girl when moving from her native Minnesota to Southern California, she participated in a number of critically-acclaimed projects. Of course, The Wizard of Oz was the biggest one (continuing to stand the test of time).
Before she passed away, Garland had a baby girl named Liza Minnelli. Yes — the Liza Minnelli who’s one of the few to be in the EGOT group. The same Liza Minnelli who channeled her mother’s brilliance on stage, delighting millions of fans around the world with her tremendous singing voice. While the story of Garland’s passing was tragic, Minnelli was able to revive Garland’s legacy by creating her own.

Jack Quaid: Son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid
The family resemblance is clearly here with both Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid. When married, the two Hollywood icons had a child named Jack. We know Ryan from a plethora of ’90’s Rom-Coms. Similarly, Quaid has a wide-range of films he’s been associated with (including The Parent Trap). Well, now it’s Jack’s turn to get into the action.
The 30-year-old actor did have a role in The Hunger Games when first starting out. With that said, Hughie Campbell in The Boys was truly his breakout character. Coming up, the younger Quaid is slated to be involved in the Christopher Nolan-led project called Oppenheimer.

Sosie Bacon: Daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick
There’s certainly a strong resemblance between Kevin Bacon and daughter Sosie. Interestingly enough, Kevin and wife/fellow actress Kyra Sedgwick didn’t initially want their daughter following in their footsteps as actors. However, it was only a matter of time until the uber-talented Sosie captivated audiences on-screen with her genuine, natural performances.
Sosie landed roles in some major projects. Scream and Mare of Easttown were big breaks. 13 Reasons Why was equally as impactful. Recently, Sosie’s lead role in As We See It garnered her critical acclaim. She’s also slated to star in the highly-hyped horror movie Smile.

Maya Hawke: Parents are Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman
Actress Maya Hawke certainly has a strong acting lineage from which to pull from. Father Ethan and mother Uma have long been fixtures on the silver screen as dramatic actors. Thurman is most known for her roles in Tarantino films (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill) — whereas Hawke has been in dozens of high profile projects.
After a spell at Julliard, Maya exploded — earning gigs on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Stranger Things, and Little Women. Additionally, Maya is a fantastic musician (having released two albums to date so far).

Bryce Dallas Howard: Father is Ron Howard
Director/actor/producer/writer Ron Howard is Hollywood royalty. Dating back to his parents (both actors and writers), he’s essentially been in the industry for the entirety of his life. Following in his footsteps is daughter Bryce — who went through thorough drama training in both college and high school before fully immersing herself in the family business.
You may know Bryce from her recent stint in the Jurassic Park franchise. Prior to that, she appeared in a plethora of critically-acclaimed projects — including Rocketman, As You Like It, The Village, and The Help.

Dakota Johnson: Daughter to Melanie Griffith
Melanie Griffith has enjoyed a very illustrious career dating back to the ’70’s. Among her best performances include Milk Money, Body Double, Buffalo Girls, and Night Moves. The daughter of a famous actress herself (Tippi Hedren), it only made sense that Griffith’s daughter — Dakota Johnson — would hit the stage as a star.
Aside from having a famous mom, Dakota’s dad (Don Johnson) has also enjoyed a lengthy career. Dakota herself started acting at 10 — and eventually booked big roles in projects such as The Social Network, Black Mass, Bad Times at the El Royale, and The Peanut Butter Falcon. However, Dakota’s biggest role to date probably has some via the Fifty Shades franchise.

Leonardo DiCaprio: Son of George DiCaprio
There’s really zero resemblance between father and son here. However, as fate would have it, this man is the father to perhaps the most gifted actor currently on the planet. George DiCaprio helped raise Leo in the shadow of downtown Los Angeles (in a neighborhood called Echo Park).
DiCaprio divorced from Leo’s mother when he was a baby — yet was very active in his son’s life. Aside from being a performer and an a writer of comics, the elder DiCaprio helped Leo navigate the world of acting and everything that came with it. This past year, George was even cast himself in the hit indie flick Licorice Pizza.

Angelina Jolie’s Father: Jon Voight
Actress Angelina Jolie has made a massive name for herself over the course of her illustrious career. Interestingly enough, you might be surprised to learn that her biological father is none other than veteran actor Jon Voight. Voight had his daughter with former wife/actress Marcheline Bertrand.
The couple were married for nine years before divorcing. As she got older, the relationship between Jolie and her dad reportedly was a bit rocky. Allegedly, the two haven’t always seen eye to eye. Reports indicate that she’s gone through long stretches of time without speaking to her dad. Still, she holds the birth name of Angelina Jolie Voight.

Ben Stiller’s Father: Jerry Stiller
Ben Stiller has entertained us for decades in the realm of comedy. Meet The Parents, Heavyweights, Dodgeball, and Zoolander are just a few of his big hits. The New York native certainly had the upbringing which catered to being a pro at comedic beats. Of course, we’re talking about his late father, Jerry Stiller.
Dating back to when he was a young man, Stiller was a fixture in the entertainment scene in his native New York. In later years, of course, he was most known as Arthur in King of Queens and Frank Costanza in Seinfeld. Stiller’s late mother (Anne Meara) was also a comedic genius — and paired with her husband to form their own comedy team.
